Animals Around The Continent

I am writing a song about animals from different continents. Can you help me write some lyrics? I need a short poem about whales, elephants, seals and penguins. Can you write a short poem about these?

  1. Mr. Pilson,
I posted a link to your blog on each of my enrichment blogs with an assignment for them to post poems on your blog. You can see what I did at this link: http://medwardsaigthinkinglog.blogspot.com
I think what you are doing with this blog is a great idea and a neat way to involved students! Oh, I added your picture to my blog posts as well.

  2. Mrs.Pilson,

I have a new poem in mind for your animal thing.

    Whales swime through the sea.
There as hevey as 100 times me.
    They come in many sizes,
I for that theyed when a prize.
They eat a lot of fish,
In turns into a huge dish.
For me it is like 2,000 whole pizzas,
It would be real confuseing keep track on those pizzas.
    They swime slow,
they real go, places where they find fish,in a like dish.
They wigh m ore then one ton,
    More like not one.
Well this whale that I know,
He real to show, the things he'll do for me and you if he was a person.
    I Know A Whale
    I know a whale,
    who has a big tale,
    Who has a big tale,
    I know that whale!
    He swimes under the sea,
He would really like to swime with people like you and me.
I love to swime with whales some people say.
But I guess they really like to play,
about there jokes and tricks things,
that they really like to bring!!!
I hope you like my poem!

    your student,
    Lydia
